Aiken Electric Co-Op Tree Cutting

I am very upset as a property owner to have [Aiken] Electric Co-Op exercising their apparent right to cut trees and bushes to the ground on a ten foot easement on both sides of their power lines right through my yard. Without my consent or beforehand knowledge a company under contract even went overboard (at their own admission) defacing trees even beyond the 10 ft. 'EASEMENT'.
