The Outback Steakhouse near the Aiken Mall on Whiskey Road will now be open for lunch on Sunday. This change from the chain's usual business hours has been based solely on customer feedback, according to manager John Griffin.

I noticed that the new McDonald's was open for business as I was driving by at around 11:45AM this past Thursday, November 1st. I needed to grab a quick lunch and continue with my business, so I thought I'd stop, get a cheap lunch and see these new "cafe style" McDonald's which I'd read about earlier this year.

Since TakoSushi is among my favorite places to eat in Aiken, I was naturally elated to learn that Kevin Goldsmith would be franchising the business. At last, there is the possibility of the tantalizing mixture of sushi and burritos wherever I go in the tri-state area.

Apparently Chef Chin has decided to add a few new items to his already diverse menu at Cuizine. As I sat yesterday evening perusing the menu, trying to decide what new selection to try, the "Bottomless" Low Country Boil naturally seized my attention.
